Happy Hectares is an agroforestry company based in Central Portugal focused on reforestation and fire prevention.
We are a team of international professionals that have partnered with local communities and governments to restore Central Portugal to its former beauty.
How does your service work?
We help you, help nature. We offer a chance for people to have a lasting positive impact on nature without needing to sacrifice your time or energy.

How much does it cost?
We charge 5€ to plant one tree. Our cost breakdown is below:
Seed-Seedling cost: 2€
Planting costs: 2€
Taxes and Administrative: 1€
What is the tree planting e-certificate?
Our e-certificate includes the GPS points where the tree is planted, the amount of Co2 absorption the trees you are planting will provide to the earth and a personal signature from all the founders of Happy Hectares promising the proper care of each tree.
Where do you plant the trees?
We plant the trees in strategic locations that have been affected by wildfires or other destruction. We are currently focused on planting in the Castelo Branco District in Central Portugal.
Do you offer other Agroforestry services?
Yes, we offer other services such as land cleaning and agriculture support. Our main focus is on tree planting and fire prevention but you will find a list of other services we offer on our "Services" page coming soon.
